DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson College, ranked No. 25 in the ESPN/USA Today poll, used its physical play to muscle out a 98-50 victory over North Carolina Central University inside Belk Arena in Davidson, N.C. on Saturday afternoon.

Five Wildcats scored in double-figures, topped by Stephen Curry's game-high 16 points. Stephen Rossiter added a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for Davidson (2-2).

NCCU (1-6) was led by junior guard Bryan Ayala with 13 points as the lone Eagle to net double-figures.

The Eagles shot just 36.0 percent (18-of-50) from the field, including 21.4 percent (3-of-14) from three-point range, while Davidson hit 48.6 percent (36-of-74) of its shots from the floor, including 34.3 percent (12-of-35) from long distance.

Davidson out-rebounded the visitors 43-33, including an 18-9 advantage on the offensive glass, which resulted in 20 second-chance points. The Wildcats tallied 40 points in the paint and scored 24 points off of 27 NCCU turnovers.

Up next for the Eagles is a trip to Maryland to play Towson University on Tuesday, Nov. 27.
