Willie Lee Moore Incorminias attended North Carolina College from 1937 to 1941 and played basketball as well as singing in the choir. Following the birth and childhood of her son and daughter, she accepted employment with the John Wanamaker Department Store in Philadelphia in 1951 and remained with the company until 1983 when she retired.
