Football (1980-83): All-CIAA First Team defensive back in 1983; team captain, 1983; 10 career interceptions (with 280 return yards) ranks 15th at NCCU.
Selected in 10th round of 1984 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions; played 10 NFL seasons with Detroit Lions (1984-85), Philadelphia Eagles (1986-90, 1992-93), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1991); recorded 11 career interceptions for 171 return yards, including a touchdown with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1990, along with 4.0 career sacks.
