Football (1983-86): Four-time First-Team All-CIAA; NCCU’s all-time leading receiver with 210 career receptions, 4,231 career receiving yards and 38 career receiving touchdowns; owns school’s top two single-season receiving yards records with 1,387 yards in 1985 and 1,151 yards in 1986; holds NCCU single-game records in receptions (17), receiving yards (354) and receiving touchdowns (5).
Drafted by New Orleans Saints in 10th round of the 1987 NFL Draft; played professionally with the Saints (1987-88), the Detroit Lions (1989-91) and the Miami Dolphins (1992), finishing with 165 receptions, 2,644 yards and 18 touchdowns in six NFL seasons.
