Played on 4 conference championship teams in 2 sports. 

Volleyball (1996-99): 2-time All-CIAA First Team (1998, 1999); 3-time CIAA All-Tournament Team (1997, 1998, 1999); 1999 CIAA Tournament MVP when NCCU won its first volleyball conference championship; first student-athlete in NCCU history to record more than 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career (1,031 kills, 1,126 digs); broke school record in career digs with 1,126. 

Softball (1998-99, 2005-06): Played on 3 CIAA championship teams (1998, 1999, 2006); 1999 All-CIAA First Team; among top 10 career leaders in batting average (.432) and home runs (16); among top 10 single-season leaders in batting average (.533) and slugging percentage (.908) in 1999.  

NOTE: 
Rena joins her mother Catherine Gamble Armwood (induction class of 2005) as the first mother/daughter inductees in the NCCU Athletics Hall of Fame.
