Jefferson P. Inmon, Jr. ended his Eagle football years in 1972 holding the team record for career rushing, career scoring, and season scoring. That season saw him win All-MEAC honors for the second time, MEAC Offensive Player of the Year, and Pittsburgh Courier All-American honors. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams. During his career he ran for over 100 yards in eight games for the Eagles. Inmon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from NCCU in 1973 and holds the MPA degree in environmental policy from North Carolina State University.
