Softball (1990-93): All-CIAA First Team, 1993; led nation in stolen bases during 3 of her 4 softball seasons; as a rookie in 1990, swiped 44 bases in 45 attempts (1.52 stolen bases per game); in 1992, stole 85 bases in 87 tries (2.93 stolen bases per game), which remains an NCAA Division II single-season record; in 1993, stole 65 bases (2.41 per game) without getting caught, which also stands as Division II record for best perfect season; also led nation in runs batted in per game (1.52) and runs scored per game (1.90) as a junior in 1992; completed NCCU softball career with 219 stolen bases and a success rate of 98.2 percent, which ranks second among NCAA Division II career leaders.
Basketball (1989-93): topped Lady Eagles in steals for 3 consecutive seasons (1990-93) and assists for back-to-back seasons (1991-93); among NCCU’s all-time leaders with 270 career steals and 290 career assists; also holds school record for steals in a game with 16 vs. Bowie State, Jan. 25, 1990.
