North Carolina Central University Athletics

2015:  Played in all 49 games and started all but one, coming in from the bullpen at Charleston Southern (March 11).  Batted .242 and led the team in runs scored with 32, walks with 24 and triples with two, picking up 50 total bases.  Went 2-for-5 at North Carolina A&T (April 4) with two RBI and two runs scored with a double.  Made three appearances on the mound with two starts, and struck out six batters. Named to preseason All-MEAC first team.

2014:  Named to All-MEAC Academic Team.  Played in 33 games, starting in 31.  Finished the year batting .243 at-the-dish with 18 RBI (Tied with Zack Lee and Bryant Battle).  Recorded four doubles and one triple and one home run.  His first career round tripper came in game one of the series against Lafayette.  Had five games of at least two hits including his 2-for-4 effort in the series finale against Florida A&M, where he racked up a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI in the 15-11 comeback win over the Rattlers.  Went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI against Alabama State on March 30.  His double gave the Eagles the lead over the Hornets late in that contest.  From March 15-22 batted 7-for-21 (.333) with five runs scored and three RBI.  Recorded at least one hit in 25 games. 

2013:  Named to the 2013 MEAC All-Tournament Team; Started his first season at NCCU on the pitching staff, but injuries forced him off the mound and into the outfield where he blossomed.  Ended the year second on the team with a .310 batting average.  Earned his first start in the outfield on April 3 against Virginia State where he went 2-for-4 with a stolen base.  Four days later, followed that up going 3-for-4 with a double, and a run scored outing in the series finale against NC A&T, earning MEAC Rookie of the Week.  Began his career at-the-dish with a four-game hitting streak that also included a 2-for-3 effort against Duke, and a 1-for-3 performance on the road at Bethune-Cookman.  Turned his game up in the 2013 MEAC Baseball Championships going 9-for-19 (.473) which was the best on the squad.  Also rang up his first career triple, a double, two RBI, and five runs scored.  Had 22 hits in 71 plate appearances with nine runs scored, three RBI, four doubles, a triple, five walks, three stolen base.  Committed only one defensive error in 21 games played.  Threw 3.1 innings that including a short start against Delaware State where he went 2.1 innings allowed three hits with four runs surrendered with three walks and two strikeouts.

High School (Dudley High School): Earned All-Conference honors as a standout on the baseball team.
