CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina University blanked visiting North Carolina Central University, 7-0, in non-conference men's tennis action at the Coastal Carolina Tennis Complex Thursday afternoon.
The Chanticleers won all six singles matches in straight sets to level their overall record at 7-7. The Eagles were unable to win consecutive matches in falling to 3-10 on the season.

Maksym Konovalov was the NCCU player closest to winning a set, as he lost at No. 5 singles by a 7-5, 6-2 margin. Sophomores No. 1
Gabriel Cucalon (6-4, 6-1) and No. 3
Davide Callegari (6-3, 6-2) both won a total of five games in their losses for the Eagles.
Coastal Carolina won 18 of 23 doubles games played to sweep doubles by scores of 6-2, 6-3 and 6-0. The Chants also won 61 of 86 singles games contested to complete the sweep.
NCCU returns home to host UNC Asheville on Sunday at Noon.
