DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University tacked on a fifth win to its winning streak with a 92-55 decision over Southern Wesleyan at McDougald-McLendon Arena on Thursday, Dec. 1.

The Eagles led by as many as 39 points when they were up 80-41 with six and a half minutes remaining in the contest, and shared the ball well as they tied the season-high with 23 assists.

Junior forward Pablo Rivas (Phoenix, Ariz.) saw a streak of 15 consecutive made field goals snapped, stretching back to the second half of the game at Northern Kentucky on Nov. 26, but he still finished with 19 points along with five rebounds and a game-high three blocks.
