
DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University football senior
C.J. Moore has been named the NCCU Student-Athlete of the Month for October 2015 in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.
A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Moore topped the Eagles' defense with 48 tackles (33 solo), including 7.0 takedowns behind the line of scrimmage, along with three pass break-ups, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and a blocked punt.
Moore is majoring in recreation administration with a concentration in sports management and a minor in business. After graduating from NCCU in December, he is planning to attend graduate school to pursue a master's degree in sports management and to coach football.
