NCCU vs. UMES Broadcast Link (Game Central) SMS Text Updates
NORFOLK, VA. – Scattered thunderstorms over the last few days in the Tidewater area of Virginia have forced officials involved with the 2012 MEAC Baseball Championship (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) to push the start times back approximately two hours at Marty Miller Field in Norfolk, Va.
The first contest between the No. 2 seed in the Northern Division Norfolk State against the third seed from the Southern Division North Carolina A&T was pushed back from its original start time of 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Each game after that will begin at least 30 minutes following the previous contest weather pending throughout the day.
NCCU and Maryland Eastern Shore were scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. first pitch and as the final game of the day could see their start moved all the way back to around 10:00 p.m.
